Saona Island Relax and Exclusive Catamaran Tour - Private Excursions from Punta Cana and Bayahibe by

A spectacular day aboard a 21m (75 feet) catamaran from which we sail the clear waters from the fishing village of Bayahibe, La Romana, until we reach the crystal-clear waters of Saona Island (1.5 hours). We anchor to snorkel in a zone rich in colorful tropical fish and the lionfish at El Muro/La Pared, with onboard equipment for masks and snorkels; we bathe in the sand cay, swim to the starfish, or we can take our zodiac to the beach for the beachgoers, while onboard the exquisite food is prepared.

We cross the channel to skirt the villas in the area until we go up the Chavon River, where movies like Apocalypse Now, Anaconda, and Rambo III have been filmed to give us an idea of the tropical jungle, and see the villa of Altos de Chavon from above. We return to the starting point by catamaran at 5:15 p.m. to take the transfer to the hotels (Bayahibe, Dominicus, and La Romana, 15 min) Punta Cana Bavaro 1h:15min, Uvero Alto 1:35min).

Suggested program for private groups

We will arrive by sailboat in the morning around 9, and then sail for an hour to Saona and the broken dock of Catuano, where divers can observe a wide range of tropical fish.

Then we will go to the beach, where we will enjoy one of the most beautiful white sand and turquoise water beaches in the Dominican Republic.

Afterward, we will sail to the natural pool of Palmillas, while we have lunch on the catamaran.

The natural pool is a magical place with the clearest waters in the region.

The highlight of the natural pool is the giant starfish.

Sail back to Bayahibe along the coast for an hour and a half, return at 4:30 p.m. The transfer is included from specific areas to be arranged.

• Drinks: large beers, soft drinks, rum, water, coffee

• Snacks: bananas, sandwiches, Doritos, and cake

• Snorkel equipment
